Finished another oil pastel drawing this afternoon 🔅, feeling great about the accomplishments. This is one of my personal on-going projects that I am learning color palette 🎨and color theory through drawing landscapes with oil pastels on my 9 x 12 sketchbook.

This drawing was inspired from a picture that I took during my hiking at the Mission Trails in San Diego that me and my husband went hiking a lot throughout the year as they have many different styles of trails.

I love the creamy texture of oil pastels and its vibrant colors, both brought me so much joy and healing from burned out and from the grieving of the loss of my dad - someone who inspired me to do art and creativities! Thank you dad and thank you Jesus for creating art.
